Welcome to the Semantics and Visualisation Blog. This Blog was initially created as as place for presenting thoughts and ideas around my PhD Project. It is now continued as a general means of discussing and publishing things around visualisation of semantically rich or linked open data.
In 2012/13 I was working on a project being part of the eScience Network, a network for clustering acitivities in Saxony which aims at enhancing science with electronic means. The goal of the project was to build a visualisation framework for linked data and instantiate it for the publication domain. Hence, for a while, the focus of this blog shifted to the specifics of visualising bibliographic data and how to gather it from open sources.
