Music Producer - I'm so excited with the work I've been doing within my incubator of a studio. There is really a homemade sign across the door of my home studio titled, "Womb". Creative ideas are born in this environment and i am very fertile today. :) Before I'm finishing a production, I'm hearing a brand new song during my head, taking notes and recording the minds so it is not lost forever. Some ideas flow easily, others I must work on nurturing them into our planet. And that is the attractiveness of this space I'm in. There's nothing like this technique of creation and I'm conscious to keep the ideas flowing and turn into in this space.
Performer - Such a beautiful gift to have and share. I can't express how lucky I feel so that you can create music and much more lucky to be able to share my creations with others. It's a thrill to play my original music for people who have heard me cover other artist’s music for so very long. Their surprise is exhilarating and feeds my hunger to help keep going. The process: We have spent so long in my musical life focusing on “The Music” rather than the lyrics. When I’ve learned cover songs, learning the lyrics is the hardest thing personally. I hear the music activity and not the words. It’s strange but, it’s how I’ve processed my craft over the years. So, there's a new learning curve personally, and when anyone has this same excitement about learning something totally new that’s near your heart, you no doubt know what I’m experiencing. And I’m challenged willing and able to become a better songwriter.
Performer - I think you'll are enjoying the sample tracks on my small website: www.scottcurts.com. They all will be on my new debut CD titled, “In My World”. My goal is to have 10 original songs and 4 cover songs. I’m still within the tail end of my writing and production stages, and I’m desperate to share the finished product with you.
